Charm entitled 'Ora Criongaini' [Charm for a Bruise] collected from Ranald MacDonald, aged 81 years, Geàrraidh na Mònadh/Garrynamonie, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist, beginning 'An ora chuir Calum-cille ris cois a ghille sa ghleann. Note about the 'Clach air Sealbh Chaorach' collected from John MacAulay from Gearrloch [Geàrrloch/Gairloch, Ros is Cromba/Ross and Cromarty] but living in Edinburgh [Dùn Èideann. The note tells how the Clach an Sealbh Chaorach is a crystal stone for the luck of sheep and that 'Each house had a god for each thing in the shap[e] of a lus an Ealabhin'.
